There have been a lot of changes over the summer to high school athletics throughout the state, but the one thing that hasn’t changed is that our Farmers still put in their hard work over the summer and continue to shine on their respective fields of play.
Our softball team is dominating on the diamond and is currently ranked as a top 3 team in the state after recently knocking off the number 1 team in the state last week. As the team continues their push into league games I would recommend that you get out to support this amazing squad- but please remember to wear your masks and stay spread apart.
Our boys’ tennis team is now towards the end of their shortened season and are navigating a new league format that places us in the top tier of Jeffco 4A schools. The boys and coaches are fighting hard and working towards regional births coming up in the middle of this month. The team plays their home matches at Everitt Middle School and the schedule can be found on our website.
Cross Country has been an adventure this year due to limited number of parks being available for our athletes as well as number restrictions at these venues. Like all Farmers do, these teams have weathered the storm and are now on the verge of competitions throughout the county thanks to the hard work of the coaches to find them places to run.
The Farmer Boy’s Golf team will be wrapping up another successful year that has seen growth in all of the players. They have competed well in their tournaments so far and are looking forward to their regional and state tournaments later this month.
As we return to school, our activities programs will start to ramp up their programs that will include music, theater, spirit, speech and debate and numerous other clubs. Our band has already been practicing and are awaiting a time to show off their talent and hard work. Many other clubs will begin meeting once we are back in the swing of things, so please be sure to be on the lookout for those dates and times.

No matter the schedule, we are looking forward to having our Farmers back in the building and seeing you showing that Wheat Ridge Pride at our fields and courts soon!
Go Farmers!
